Membership Makes a Difference
When you join the credit union, you become a member, which essentially
means that you are an owner of this unique financial institution. Like other credit
unions, Wichita Eagle Credit Union is a non-profit organization. Our primary mission is to
serve our members - not to make profits for ourselves. Earnings are returned to members
through higher dividend rates on savings and/or lower interest rates on loans.
Who can join
Membership in the Wichita Eagle Credit Union is limited to Wichita Eagle & Beacon Publishing Co., employees and their immediate
family. Membership also includes main contract haulers for the Wichita Eagle
& Beacon Publishing Co.
Family Membership
Anyone in your family is eligible to join and take advantage of all the convenient and
economical services at your credit union. Your spouse, children, parents, grandchildren,
and grandparents can all become members - regardless of where they live or work.
